Understanding Billing and Subscription Management in VocalBrief
VocalBrief offers flexible subscription plans to suit various user needs. This article will guide you through the billing process, subscription management, and what happens if there are changes to your account status.
Subscription Plans
VocalBrief offers three main plans:
- VocalBrief Free: 180 minutes/month of recording processing (No cost)
- VocalBrief Basic: 600 minutes/month of recording processing ($15.00/month)
- VocalBrief Pro: 3000 minutes/month of recording processing ($45.00/month)
Billing Cycle
- When you sign up for a paid plan, you will be billed monthly.
- The renewal date is clearly displayed in your account information.
Managing Your Subscription
- To view or change your subscription:
- Log in to your VocalBrief account.
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Select “Upgrade” or navigate to the subscription management page.
- On the “Choose a plan” page, you can:
- Upgrade to a higher tier plan.
- Downgrade to a lower tier plan or the free plan.
- Manage your subscription through Stripe by clicking “Manage Subscription (Stripe)”.
Payment Methods
- VocalBrief uses Stripe for secure payment processing.
- You can add or update payment methods in the Stripe billing portal.
- Multiple payment methods can be added for backup.
Cancellation or Payment Issues
- If you cancel your subscription or if there’s an issue with your payment:
- We will notify you via email.
- Your account will be automatically downgraded to the free tier.
- Your existing recordings will remain safe and accessible.
- You will be limited in how much new content you can upload (180 minutes/month).
Upgrading or Downgrading
- You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
- Changes to your subscription will be reflected in your next billing cycle.
Viewing Usage and Limits
- Your current plan details, including minutes used and remaining, are visible on your main dashboard.
- The renewal date and days until renewal are also displayed for easy reference.
